The RTW ACADEMY project, with a national focus in the first place, wants to take advantage of the influence of Gerland and the city of Lyon on the values that bring us closer: Sport, emotions, sensations, sharing, safety and surpassing self.
Prevention - An area of 1500 sqm dedicated to the prevention and learning of ebike and ebike thanks to a color-coded floor marking Lou. "Ride The World Academy" will be equipped with a full range of electric trial bikes to allow members from 5 to 77 years to learn different techniques safely. This space also aims to accommodate classes of schools in the Lyon region.
Training - A track for initiation and development designed by Yannick Granieri, professional mountain bike athlete and Ambassador Redbull. Framed by state-certified instructors to bring all the expertise of the top riders trained by Ride The World. We want to offer companies to participate in our various workshops within the structure of the stadium and why not extend our track in the heart of the stadium!
Playful - To attract the world all year long we will propose the first runway of Pump Track Lyon designed by Yannick Granieri and Leo Nobile. What is a Pump Track? A Pump Track is a fun course in a closed loop consisting of several small bumps and banked turns to achieve the full turn without putting a pedal stroke if the practitioner manages to recover energy by pumping with the legs at the passage of each bump hence the word PUMP for Pump and Track TRACK. These tracks can be practiced by various sports equipment such as skateboarding, cycling or scooter. We will also provide a secure Air Bag and supervised by a monitor.
About Ride The World

"Sustainable mobility is one of the fundamental issues of tomorrow, which is why I have devised centers where citizens can come and improve their skills in two-wheeled electric vehicles safely and accompanied by state-certified instructors. "
